Having a considerable indemnity insurance for the security of our clients, we are glad that we never had to make use of it so far. Discretion and compliance with all legal requirements (data protection, AGG, UWG, etc.) are matters of course for our consultants.

    Kornherr Associates is now braines

    History: Kornherr Associates, 1990 – 2021

    Founded in 1990 by Lothar Kornherr and joined by Karlheinz Hirn shortly afterwards; IT hype of the 90s, Internet, DotCom bubble, collapse of the “New Market”, new outtasking and outsourcing business processes, new IT business models SaaS and PaaS. Bernhard Rabl joins the partner circle in 2016. Change is constant: multi-project management, new technologies, competition for the best in tight IT labour markets. The Corona pandemic accelerates the trend towards digitalisation from March 2020 up to now. At the end of 2020, our founder and senior partner Lothar Kornherr retires – accompanied by our best wishes and in the best memory of many years of a trusting and very successful cooperation.

    New Horizons: braines Executive Search, 2021

    Kornherr Associates becomes braines Executive Search in July 2021; Karlheinz Hirn and Bernhard Rabl continue the executive search business with their colleagues under the new brand identity. Change remains constant: multi-project management, new technologies, competition for the best in tight IT labour markets. But the tried and tested also remains: Close and sustainable relationships with our corporate clients, personal commitment to project success and a strong business ethic. In short, we look forward to the coming years and projects with and in our community.
